$50.00 Barnes & Noble Gift Card Giveaway

Book lovers, this giveaway is for you!

In 2020, I have set a goal to read 20 books. Since that’s less than 2 books per month, I think it’s totally doable, even with my crazy schedule.

Reading is just as important for adults as it is for kids. Most of us always make time to read to our kids, but never find time for our own books. That is a shame and it’s not fair. No matter what age we are, no matter what stage of life we’re in, a good book is important. Take time for yourself in the new year.

One winner will receive a $50.00 gift card to jump start their reading list. The Barnes & Noble giveaway will be open thru 2/6/2020. Good luck, everyone.

    What a great giveaway! Living in Extremely Rural WV my “second hand bookstores” are now amazon and the other online booksellers, and my cart Alwyas has dozens of books in it! On my list right now are another Elsa Hart mystery in her “Li Du Novels” series;
    “Old Blue The Rarest Bird in the World” by Taylor-Mary, “Old Wine New Flasks: Reflections on Science and Jewish Tradition” by Roald Hoffmann. “The Deal of a Lifetime” by Fredrik Backman, and “Kimiko and Other Japanese Sketches” by Lafcadio Hearn… 🙂

      Out of all the titles you mentioned, I had only heard of one previously. Definitely will be looking into your suggestions. I love getting book tips from other readers!

    I have had good luck with Amazon second hand booksellers…the books are always in great condition when they arrive — prices are great. Thanks for the giveaway.

    Do you use Goodreads for your book search and reading progress monitoring?
    Wonderful giveaway, but personally I never buy books (except used encyclopedias on garage and library sales) because I am in a process of decluttering my home, and I don’t want to bring new ones when old ones are still waiting for the new place to be found. But idea is lovely, thank you for doing it.

      I do like GoodReads. I try to keep clutter to a minimum, but I can’t stop buying books! I use the library as well, but I love re-reading my favorites and tend to buy a lot.

    I would love to get a reference book on CNC machine coding for my son and a good thriller for myself. To me, books are the ultimate gifts.

    I’d probably get another book on American Sign Language. One of my goals for 2020 is to learn ASL, and I am almost done with the small introductory book I started two weeks ago.

    I love Barnes and Noble. After Borders closed that became my favorite hangout. I go there for peace and quiet where I can read and have some coffee without my husband bothering me or being upset with me for reading. He hates that I have so many books, but I gotta have them! LOL I buy books just to have them, so I can read and re-read all my favorites.

    I love to read. I get most of my books from the library but I would love to buy a couple with this.
    Thanks for the contest.

    I’ve been an avid reader my entire life. I really should find a new home for the majority of my books because they are everywhere! I just can’t seem to bring myself to pack them up. I’ve run out of bookcase space so I’ve started collecting e-books.
