Welcome to another edition of Super Savings Saturday. This week I’m focusing on birthday freebies, in honor of my 37th birthday which was on 12/12.
Panera:
I started the day with a free breakfast. For the entire month of December, I have a free daily bagel promo and they included any free birthday pastry. My pick was an Everything bagel and a chocolate croissant. So good!
Ruby Tuesday:
For lunch, I redeemed my coupon for a free birthday meal, choice of Garden Bar or Burger. I splurged and got the burger. The restaurant was completely dead and the waitress told me she thinks they’re closing soon. I predict this freebie won’t be able in 2019.
Starbucks:
After eating so much junk food, I was pretty tired. A free birthday drink was a great pick-me-up. I decided on a simple iced coffee, Trenta sized, of course.
CVS:
In between all the feasting, I popped in for some makeup.
3 Covergirl eye pencils, regular price $4.99. I used a $5.00/15.00 store coupon stacked with 3 $3.00 manufacturer’s coupons. Total: $0.97 plus $5.00 ECBs. (I love moneymakers.)
Tropical Smoothie Café:
Since this store is right next door, I had to stop for a free Strawberry Banana smoothie. By that point I was ready to burst!
For dinner, I enjoyed a nice meal at home with my family and a chocolate cake. While nothing exceptional happened, I had a lovely birthday and I feel so fortunate to be alive, loved, and content. I’m very excited to see what the coming year will bring.

Not yet, but I’m planning to! Sephora is a free mascara this year I think? I forget what Ulta is offering. Free cosmetics are the best.

CVS is very coupon friendly, lots of deals, and lots of store rewards. The thing I like best is that you can stack coupons and the rewards are available immediately. First step would be signing up for their rewards program and the Beauty club. Also, if you use them for prescriptions, they have special deals there too.
