Target: Free Organic Food!

a3

Like to buy organic snacks for your family? Head to Target for this awesome deal!

Buy 4 Horizon crackers, 7.5 oz, regular price $3.49 each. Use 2 Buy One Get One Free coupons stacked with 50% off Cartwheel offer. Total: 4 free boxes!

There are two varieties, peanut butter or cheddar. I bought 2 of each earlier today and the deal works perfectly—no beeping! The cashier was shocked to see it, too.

Arrgh, so jealous! My Target didn’t have any of the Horizon crackers (I had seen them there a few weeks ago when I was getting the grahams for free from Winn Dixie) but when I went there today, the whole cracker/cookie aisle seemed to have shrunk to about half its previous size and those were nowhere in sight – not even out of stock, there just wasn’t room on the shelves for them. And I have a lot of the BOGO coupons too!
    Good for you 🙂

I know it can be frustrating to miss out on deal. Cartwheel is very hit or miss for me, due to the shelf clearers that show up with 5 phones each! Sorry you didn’t get the crackers. I’m still jealous about all your free Lucky Charms! 🙂

Oh wow, I don’t think I’ve ever seen people using more than one Cartwheel account or even do several separate transactions at Target! The Target deals, any of them, are very hit or miss here too since their ad comes out on Sunday and I don’t shop until Wednesday morning and I don’t think their mid-week truck comes until Wednesday night. So I try not to get too excited about them. For the Horizon deal, I WAS excited since I was still hanging on to BOGO coupons that I had printed a couple of weeks ago and I figured there was a chance most people would have already used theirs. And then they decided to put out a new BOGO coupon so that killed it for me. Oh well. I’m not changing my shopping day and fighting the crowds on Sundays just to get a few freebies 🙂

You are so smart to stick to your shopping schedule! I miss out on some deals and just get rain checks if possible. It’s not worth it to get upset over a few losses when we can get so much good stuff regularly.

As for the multiple cartwheels, yes it’s crazy. There is a gang here that works every store and has a full-time table at the flea market to sell everything. The manager at Walgreens finally banned them. Not sure if Target cares.

I think they might care if they realized it was happening. There was an article in the news a couple of days ago about Target banning some resellers that were buying the Lilly Pulitzer merchandise with their tax free certificates and reselling it at a profit on e-bay and other sites. I guess they could ban those people from the stores, but then they’d probably enroll friends to do the same thing.
