Wynnewood, PA Seeking Jewish Relocation

In an effort to attract new congregants, the Jewish community of Wynnewood, PA is set to promote their area as an ideal place to relocate. The campaign will be funded by a $20,000 grant, gifted by the Kohelet foundation.

Wynnewood is Philadelphia suburb that offers Jewish schools, temples, Kosher food, and a (relatively) affordable cost of living.

Jewish communities throughout America are shrinking in record numbers, and I applaud creative efforts to reverse the sad trend. Dothan, Alabama tried something similar a few years ago, with mixed results. It will be interesting to see if Wynnewood is able to do better. (Due to its East Coast location and better job market, I predict they will.)

Would you consider relocating to Wynnewood?
