More Price Matching At Walmart

a2

A big thanks to my sister, Jackie, for sharing more Price Matching at Walmart. By combining Publix BOGO deals and coupons, she was able to get tons of cheapies! (My Walmart still won’t allow price matching on BOGO deals, so I’m wicked jealous!)

We don’t have a complete price breakdown, due to a naughty Chihuahua tearing up the receipt, but everything shown here was only $42.00 total!

Jackie’s price matching score included:

*  Barilla pasta

*  Herbal Essence

*  Eggo waffles

*  Progresso broth

*  Tropicana juice

*  Sheba cat food

*  Cesar dog food

*  Old El Paso kits

*  Cheerios

*  Pretzels

*  Potatoes

*  Half & Half

*  Envelopes

*  Zatarain’s rice

*  Sparkle paper towels

A conservative estimate is a 50% savings on retail prices, and it was probably much more. Awesome job, Jackie! Keep up the good couponing.

Super Savings Saturday – 9/27

a4

Welcome to another edition of Super Savings Saturday! This week, I started the day many times at the McDonald’s drive-thru, getting free coffee. This helped to keep me alert during an exhausting time of Rosh Hashanah prep and shopping.

I found many freebies and cheapies by combining sales with coupons at grocery and drug stores. The only disappointment was Target; there were plenty of free light bulbs, but all the board games were gone!

Rite Aid:

Huggies Jumbo pack, regular price $12.49. I used a $2.00 Manufacturer’s coupon and a $10.00 Rite Aid coupon. Total: $0.49!

2 Listerine, raincheck price $0.99. I used 2 $1.00 Manufacturer’s coupons. Total: Free!

2 Neutrogena soaps. Raincheck price, buy 1 get 1 50% off, plus $5.00 Up Reward. Total: Free!

Target: 2 GE light bulbs, details here. Total: Free!

Shaws: 2 Marcal toilet papers, on sale $2.99. I used 2 $1.00 Manufacturer’s coupons. Total: $1.99 each!

2 Pete & Gerry organic eggs, marked down to $1.00 each. Total: $2.00! (These are usually $4.99 a dozen!)

2 Arnold breads, $3.99 and Buy 1, Get 1. I used a $1.00/2 Manufacturer’s coupon. Total: $1.50 each!

My favorite deal was the cheap Marcal; it works out to only $0.07 a roll!  I added yet another pack of Huggies to the stockpile (this is overflowing with diapers)! The eggs and bread were made into some delicious egg salad sandwiches. The soap and Listerine will be used in the near future.

Did you use any coupons this week?

Target: Free Light Bulbs!

By stacking coupons, we can get free light bulbs at Target!

Buy GE Reveal Light Bulb, 40W, regular price $2.79. Use a $1.00 Manufacturer’s coupon, stacked with a $2.00 Target coupon. Total: Free!

These coupons can be printed twice, so we can get 2. Don’t forget that free cookie dough & cheap games are still available as well.
