Welcome to another edition of Super Savings Saturday!
This week was all about diapers—8 packages for FREE! I love when deals line up perfectly with need. My stockpile was getting low and now it’s restocked at a fraction of the cost.
I also found amazing deals on chicken and picked up some salmon as a treat.
Rite Aid:
Transaction #1 – 4 Huggies diapers, on sale $7.99. I used 4 $2.00 manufacturer’s coupons. Total: $23.96, plus $10.00 Plenti Points, $6.00 Plenti Points, and a $10.00 Catalina.
Transaction #2 – 4 Huggies diapers, on sale $7.99. I used 4 $2.00 manufacturer’s coupons and the $10.00 Catalina. Total: $13.96, plus $10.00 Plenti Points and another $10.00 Catalina.
After store rewards and the Catalinas, I actually came out ahead!
Shaws:
I made 2 trips on different days to take advantage of a great deal on chicken.
Transaction #1 – 4 Perdue Perfect Portion chicken bags, 3-day sale price $3.88. I used 4 $2.00 manufacturer’s coupons. Total: $1.88 each! (Regular price is a jaw-dropping $11.99 per bag, so this was a huge saving!)
Transaction #2 – The Perdue coupon reset and I was able to print 1 more. When I got to the store, I found 2 bags marked BOGO unexpectedly and the deal was even better. I bought 2 Perdue Perfect Portion chicken bags, ringing up free and $3.88. Total: $1.88 for 2! (I think the BOGO was from the previous week’s sale but it went through anyway.)
2 pieces of salmon, on sale $6.99/lb. (Not an extremely low price, but we really love fish and I need to use some for an upcoming product review.) Total: $16.37!

WOW that diaper deal is fantastic, but what are Catalinas? I live in SoCal & many of the grocery stores you mention we don’t have but I enjoy reading about your deals anyway.
A Catalina is a coupon that prints from a separate machine next to the cash register. CA has higher prices overall, but they also have higher value coupons.
