Ace Hardware will have one million FREE American flags nationwide on Saturday, May 25. There is a limit of one flag per customer, no purchase necessary.
For every flag given away, a second flag is donated to a local VFW Post to be used for marking and honoring veteran graves this Memorial Day.
What a wonderful way to honor America! Hang that flag proudly and show your support for this incredible country we are privileged to live in.

They actually understand that Memorial Day is for remembering and honoring those who died serving this country. If I get one more sales email telling me have a Happy Memorial Day! I am going to scream. I wish that some of the overpaid geniuses writing marketing copy would do some basic, Second Grade-level research, like Googling “Memorial Day”, or checking Wikepedia, before sending our sales emails…
Memorial Day has become focused on shopping and BBQs but it’s supposed to be about the MEMORY of our Fallen Heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for this nation. People need to remember why it’s a special day – honor the flag and the Vets!
