LAST DAY to Order: Don’t Miss The Ultimate DIY Bundle

On 1/21, I mentioned The Ultimate DIY Bundle—a COMPLETE Do-it-Yourself library consisting of 76 eBooks and eCourses that help you learn or enhance your creativity and discover your Pinterest-worthy talent!

Since then, I’ve had a few questions about the Bundle, mainly what it contains, if I’ve actually read it, and is it worth the money. I want to touch on that and more.

The Ultimate DIY Bundle includes info on these topics:

* Home Décor

* Photography

* Scrapbooking

* Writing

* Sewing

* The Business of DIY

* Crafts

* Holidays & Seasonal

* Home & Garden

Not only did I read it, I loved it! I’ve spent most of this week peeking through the collection, and I must say, it’s incredible. There is such a wealth of information that it will probably take me a month or more to finish everything. So far, I’m completely in love with DIY Organic Beauty Recipes, Easy DIY Crafts for Every Season, and Cake Decorating with Modeling Chocolate. I’m just beginning with DIY, but anyone who’s skilled will also love Act on Your Craft: How to Sell at Craft Shows & Farmer’s Markets. (If I ever become good at crafts, I would love to try marketing them!)

As for cost, I can honestly say it’s worth it. A single hardcover book often costs $19.99, so for less than the price of 2 books, I now have over 76 eBooks and eCourses that have tons of useful knowledge that helps and inspires me!

The sale price, which is 97% off the total retail price, expires tonight at 11:59 PM, so if you’ve been on the fence, now is the time to order the Ultimate DIY Bundle.

Super Savings Saturday – 1/24/15

Welcome to another edition of Super Savings Saturday!

It was a great week of shopping, and I’m really glad I went early because today is a snowstorm here in New England. (Is anyone else as sick of the unrelenting cold/stormy weather? Yuck!)

The drug stores deals have been quite slim, but I didn’t let that deter me. By cherry-picking the best sales and using coupons whenever possible, I was able to score free food, pens, medicine, and much more. Plus, my favorite deal of all—cheap pajamas!

Shaw’s:

2 Cinnamon Toast cereals, on sale $1.88. I used 2 $0.50 Manufacturer’s coupons (doubled). Total: $0.88 each!   (Hungry Bear’s obsession. I keep encouraging him to eat healthy cereal, but he’s not convinced.)

Wal-Mart:

2 Finish dish tabs, sale price $2.96. I used 2 $2.15 Manufacturer’s coupons. Total: $0.81 each!

Orange, details here. Total: Free!

Rite Aid:

Max Freeze, rain check price $5.00 with a $5.00 Up Reward. Total: Free!

Bic pens, rain check price $1.00. I used a $1.00 Manufacturer’s coupon. Total: Free!

Target:

I was so excited to find this deal. Normally, they cost $24.99 a pair. I was able to buy 4 pairs of pajamas for the price of one! If you haven’t tried Gilligan & O’Malley brand, it’s super. The 4th pair is a pink plaid and not pictured, because it’s in the wash.

4 Pajama sets, on sale $7.48 plus 20% off coupon. Total: $5.98 each!

Panera:

After all that shopping, I sure had worked up an appetite. I headed over to Panera and picked up free hazelnut coffee, a free cinnamon roll, and a Broth Bowl. (You can sign up for the same rewards by registering at Panera and watching videos.)

The Broth Bowl was a chicken & soba noodle combo. I doubt I’d pay full price, but it was a decent lunch for under $5.00, and it’s always fun to find treats!

My Experience with Edible Gifts Plus

a4

Which do you like better, cookies or brownies? It’s impossible to choose, right? Thanks to the amazing folks at Edible Gifts Plus, we don’t have to!

Edible Gifts Plus is a family owned business, based in south Carolina. They are known for offering the freshest and tastiest treats for every occasion. With an enormous selection of sweet and savory gifts, there is literally something for everyone.

When they generously offered me the chance to sample the Cookie and Sprite Combo, I jumped at the chance! It arrived in a classic gift box, wrapped with a signature purple gift band. (I find that beautiful packaging only helps to enhance a gift.) Nestled inside were 6 Fairytale cookies and 12 Brownie Sprites. Each item is individually wrapped to maximize taste and freshness.

The cookies come in the following flavors: Caramel Pecan, Coconut Walnut, Double Chocolate, Mint Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Toffee Chocolate Chip. While each one is delicious, my personal favorite is the Caramel Pecan (Must be something about the sweet and crunchy combo that’s wonderful). Naturally, I had to have milk on the side to dunk. Yum!

The cookies had an excellent texture, not too hard or soft. Some packaged cookies can be disappointing, but not the ones from Edible Gifts Plus. Every morsel is pure perfection.

The Brownie Sprites come in the following flavors: Original, Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Cream Cheese, Espresso, Mint, Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Pecan, Raspberry Swirl, Toffee Crunch, Walnut and White Chocolate.

Can a single word describe how truly delicious these brownies are? Yes, if the word is “Spectacular!” Soft, yet slightly chewy, moist, and bursting with flavor, I adore these brownies.

After sampling 3 cookies and 4 brownies, I had to stop myself from inhaling the entire box in one sitting. (Thankfully, these treats can be eaten fresh for up to a week, or frozen for later without compromising quality.)

The Cookie and Sprite Combo would make an excellent gift for birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. I’m happy to report they’re certified Kosher, so everyone in the Jewish Community can enjoy them! (Talk about a great idea for Purim or Rosh Hashanah.) Additional Kosher gifts are offered for every Jewish event, including Passover.

If you’re looking for a delicious gift at a reasonable price, Edible Gifts Plus is simply the best.
