Pumpkin’s Experience With Organix Cat Treats

a2

The wonderful folks at Castor & Pollux were kind enough to send some Organix cat treats for Pumpkin to sample. Castor & Pollux has been making all-natural pet products for 20 years. They are committed to producing only the finest food and treats and they strive to help animals in need—something I fully support.

I hadn’t heard of Organix prior to this, but I sure am glad I know now! These treats are simply amazing. They are 95% organic and made with free-range meat. No corn, soy, or wheat is included. It makes me feel so good to give high quality ingredients to Pumpkin, instead of the usual junk food treats on the market.

When you take the treats out of the pack, you’ll notice that each one is shaped like a little drumstick. The crunch factor is extremely high. Usually, I give Pumpkin moist treats, but he really enjoyed snacking on these. He ate so quickly, a bunch fell off the plate.

Because Pumpkin is an extremely active indoor/outdoor cat, he gets very hungry. After a long day of running, jumping, hunting, and playing, he is always looking for a nibble.

I feel confident that Organix is the healthiest, safest choice. I have already bought more of the treats, and I plan to buy some of the cat food, too, in the near future. Because of their exceptional quality and delicious taste, Pumpkin awards these treats “2 Paws Up.”

Super Savings Saturday – 6/7

a2

Welcome to the first June edition of Super Savings Saturday! This week I found so many great deals—cheap chicken, free makeup, free food, and free hygiene products! The only loser was Rite Aid once again (nothing but Rain Checks).

CVS:    Colgate Optic White toothpaste, on sale for $3.00. I used a $2.00 store coupon and a $1.00 Manufacturer’s coupon. Total: Free!

2 Gelusil, on sale for $2.00. I used 2  $2.00 Manufacturer’s coupons. Total: Free!

Walgreens:    Almay lip gloss, on sale for $5.99. I used a $2.00 store coupon and a $4.00 Manufacturer’s coupon. Total: Free!  (Walgreens has adjusted their coupon policy and they will no longer mark down coupons. They did it for me this week, but who knows what the future will bring…)

a2

Hannaford:   I ran into an unexpected sale on split breast chicken at $1.19/Lb. I bought every package I could find! Total: $19.02!

Target:   2 Wishbone dressings, details here. Total: Free after rebate!

2  Magnesium Citrate Oral Solutions, details here. Total: Free!

2  Market Pantry pastas, details here. Total: $0.38 each!

2  Johnson’s baby powders, details here. Total: $0.03 each!

By shopping the sales and using coupons, I accomplished quite a bit. The freezer is packed with chicken. I added more free toothpaste and lip gloss to my collection (at this rate, I’ll never have to pay for either again). The Gelusil and Magnesium Citrate will be on hand, if needed. The pasta and the salad dressing will be put into use immediately. Having a full stockpile really makes me feel happy and relieved!

What did you buy this week?

Cinnabon: Free Iced Coffee

a1

Cinnabon is giving away free iced coffee on 6/7! If your location is participating, you can get one 16-oz cinnamon roll beverage between 1:00-5:00 PM.

Those look so refreshing!

Target: $0.03 Baby Powder!

a1

There is a great deal at Target on Johnson’s baby powder. It will cost you only $0.03 after coupons!

Buy Johnson’s baby powder, 9 oz, regular price $1.97. Use a $0.75 Manufacturer’s coupon stacked with a $1.00 Target coupon and a 20% Target Cartwheel offer.

The coupons are good for a while, but the cartwheel offer expires on 6/14, so don’t wait too long.
