Super Savings Saturday – 6/25/16

cvkcv

Welcome to another edition of Super Savings Saturday!

I’ve taken the last 2 weeks off from posting because I haven’t bought anything. Every closet, shelf, and cabinet was completely overflowing and instead of adding to the chaos, I spent a good deal of time sorting. Most I kept, some was donated, and a very few items were tossed. Everything is in much better order now, thank goodness! (How long it actually stays that way, however, is anyone’s guess…) Taking an occasional break from couponing reminds just how much I truly do love it.

I only shopped one store on Friday afternoon, but I still came home with lots of cheap goodies. They had everything I wanted in stock, except for a moneymaker deal on Almay eyeshadow and mascara.

CVS:

3 Kleenex tissues, sale price $1.00. I stacked a $0.75/3 manufacturer’s coupon with a $1.00/3 store coupon. Total: $1.25, plus a $0.50 Checkout 51 rebate!

2 Starbucks iced coffee, regular price $1.99 plus BOGO. I used a $1.00/2 manufacturer’s coupon. Total: $0.50 each!

2 Fig Newtons, sale price $0.99. I used a $0.75/2 manufacturer’s coupon. Total: $0.62 each!

1 Viva paper towel, sale price $4.99. I stacked a $1.00 manufacturer’s coupon with a $1.00 CVS App coupon. Total: $2.99.

Super Savings Saturday – 6/4/16

llprmm

This week was all about one store—Rite Aid! It’s funny how deals come in waves at the drugstores; sometimes it’s tons, other times I leave with nothing. I was very excited to find a variety of good stuff.

I also enjoyed getting a free donut with my coffee on Friday which was National Donut Day. (Last year, it seemed like there were a lot more places participating, though?)

Rite Aid:

3 ProFoot shoe inserts, sale price $6.00. I used 3 $2.00 manufacturer’s coupons. Total: $12.00, plus $6.00 Plenti Points! (Since I’ve been experiencing a lot of back pain lately and these were only $2.00 each after points, I jumped on this deal. I’ll have to see if there’s any improvement in time.)

1 Motrin PM caplets, sale price $3.99. I used a $1.00 manufacturer’s coupon stacked with a $1.00 Rite Aid peelie coupon. Total: $1.99, plus a $1.00 Checkout 51 rebate.

2 L’Oreal Infallible lip gloss, clearance price $3.99. I used a $2.00 manufacturer’s coupon. Total: $1.99! (The tags said $4.99 but they actually rang up $1.00 cheaper.)

2 Clear Care Rinse & Go solution, regular price $9.99. I used 2 $5.00 manufacturer’s coupons stacked with 2 Rite Aid in-ad coupons. Total: $3.98 plus $6.00 Plenti Points! (I love moneymaker deals!)

1 Nexium, sale price $9.99. I used a $3.00 manufacturer’s coupon stacked with a $4.00 Rite Aid coupon. Total: $2.99 plus $3.00 Plenti Points!

Shaws:

Completely wasted trip! I am still hunting down my rain check items (split chicken breast and ice cream bars), but nothing has been restocked. Not sure if it’s a delivery issue? I always stop by customer service to check and they have no answers. They did, however, offer to extend the dates so the rain checks won’t expire. I appreciate it, but the items in hand would be better. Oh, well!

Big Savings on Pampers

6.12 Coupon 2

Pampers fans, make sure you buy a copy of the June 12, 2016 newspaper. The P&G insert will have a high value coupon, good for $3.00 off two bags or one box of any Pampers diapers or training pants! The coupon can be used for Pampers Swaddlers, Pampers Cruisers, Pampers Baby Dry, Pampers Easy Ups, Pampers Under Jams, or Pampers Splashers—everything except trial/travel sized packs.

Don’t want to wait for the Sunday paper? Prefer to print at home? You’re in luck! There’s a $2.00/1 Pampers Easy Ups Training Pants coupon. This product makes potty training so much easier, I think the cost is totally worth it.

I will be taking advantage of both deals, getting multiple inserts and printing, so I can stock up on the best sales.

Checkout 51: $5.00 New User Bonus

I’ve blogged before about my love for the Checkout 51 rebate app which allows me to save on many grocery and household items and—best of all—scores me a free fruit or veggie every week!

If you haven’t downloaded Checkout 51 yet, now is a great time because they’re offering a $5.00 new user bonus.

Want a sample deal to start with? Try this simple transaction at Target:
