Shaw’s: Huge Diaper Clearance!

a7

I found a huge, unadvertised diaper clearance at Shaw’s! Packages of Huggies Snug & Dry and Little Movers were all marked $4.19 each! (There were a variety of sizes, but mostly 3 and 4.) Combine this sale with newspaper coupons and/or printables for an amazing deal!

Buy Huggies Snug & Dry, clearance price $4.19. Use a $2.00 Manufacturer’s Coupon. Total: $2.19 each!

Buy Huggies Little Movers, clearance price $4.19. Use a $2.50 Manufacturer’s Coupon or a $2.00 Printable Coupon! Total: $1.69 or $2.19 each!

These diapers will be on the reduced rack, not the baby aisle. I can’t promise your Shaw’s will have an identical deal, but it’s certainly worth checking at this price!

Super Savings Saturday – 7/26

a2

It’s time for another edition of Super Savings Saturday!

This week was a bit different than usual, due to the Market Basket strike. It didn’t affect me as much, since I always shop multiple stores, but many others were very upset. My Market Basket had no salad mix, no cucumbers, very little bread and almost no chicken, so I had to buy staples elsewhere and none of the prices were anything special.

Other than Market Basket, I hit my normal round of stores, skipping only Target and Walgreens. Rite Aid and CVS had a few goodies, but Shaw’s was the best!

Super Savings Saturday – 7/19

a1

Welcome to another edition of Super Savings Saturday—a weekly post where I feature my best deals. By shopping only the sales and using coupons whenever possible, I’m able to continuously replenish my stockpile for very little.

This week, I found many necessary items on sale (veggies, fruit, water) and some fun treats like candy bars and ice cream. The only item I couldn’t snag was free Dramamine at Rite Aid. They were completely sold out of most everything, and I left with a rain check.

Local Produce Store:

Bag of apples, on sale $0.99/Lb. Total: $1.78!

Broccoli, on sale $1.09/Lb. Total: $3.41!

Poland Spring Sparkling Water, on sale 6/$1.00. (These can be used to make really good homemade root beer and Citrus Chillers.) Total: $1.00!

Red grapes, on sale $0.99/Lb. Total: $2.03!

Target:

2 Extra Strength Antacids, detail here. Total: $0.22 each!

2 Pure Via, on sale $3.45. I used a $1.00 Manufacturer’s Coupon stacked with a $1.00 Target coupon. Total: $1.45 each!

a1

Walgreens:

4 Nestle candy bars, details here. Total: $0.14 each!

Shaw’s:

2 Kraft dressings, on sale $2.00. I used 2 $0.75 Manufacturer’s coupons (doubled). Total: $0.50 each!

2 Turkey Hill ice creams, on sale $2.50. I used 2 $1.00 Manufacturer’s Coupons. Total: $1.50 each!

The grapes and apples were eaten as snacks and the broccoli was incorporated into many dinners. The candy bars and ice cream will be used next week for an anniversary sundae. Antacids always come in handy. The Pure Via was a great price and will be used constantly in oatmeal and iced coffees.
