Super Savings Saturday – 5/24

a1

Welcome to another edition of Super Savings Saturday. This was a good week for me, with lots of deals—some of which I found spur of the moment. The only downer was Rite Aid; everything I wanted was out, so it was nothing but Rain Checks.

Target:  2 Market Pantry Reduced Fat crackers, on sale for $1.58 each. I used a $1.00/2 Mobile coupon. Total: $1.08 each!

Pink lemonade, details here. Total: $0.14!

2 Up & Up toilet brushes, details here. Total: $0.44 each!

Neuro Sleep water, $2.39. I used a free product coupon. Total: Free!

Walmart: Ground beef and Hamburger Helper deal, featured here. Total: $2.00 after rebate!

Walgreens: I did 2 transactions for maximum savings.

Transaction #1: Coconut oil deal, featured here. Total: $6.00, plus an $8.00 Register Reward.

Transaction #2:  1 Velveeta Cheesy Skillet, $1.99, with a $1.99 Register Reward.

2 Fiber Smart Natural Triple Fibers, clearance price $3.99 each. I used 2 $2.00 Manufacturer’s coupons. Total: $1.99 each.

1 Fiber Smart Chia Seeds, clearance price $3.79. I used a $2.00 Manufacturer’s coupon. Total: $1.79 each.

I paid for the Velveeta and the Fiber Smart with the $8.00 Register Reward, so those items cost me nothing out of pocket! (I added in a cheap candy for the overage and it was an exact amount.) Plus, I have $1.99 for future deals. Since the Fiber Smart is usually $15.99 each, I think it’s an awesome price. The crackers and lemonade will be good for snack attacks and the boxed food will all be donated. This is why I love to coupon!

Target: $0.14 Pink Lemonade!

I found pink lemonade on clearance for $1.14 at my Target this afternoon. Buy one and use a $1.00 off any Market Pantry 64-oz. juice Mobile Coupon. Total: $0.14!

If you don’t want pink lemonade, I saw regular lemonade for $1.40 and pomegranate cranberry juice for $2.30.

Walmart: Free Ground Beef!

a1

Walmart is offering free ground beef after rebate, up to $6.44 with a purchase of beef and Hamburger Helper. Print out the mail-in rebate and a $1.00/2 coupon for Hamburger Helper for an amazing deal!

a1

This deal is good nationwide, but here’s a scenario for my New England Readers:

Buy 3 boxes of Hamburger Helper and 1-Lb of ground beef. Price match the sale in the Shaw’s flyer ($1.00 each for Hamburger Helper). A package of 93/7 Lean Ground Beef is $4.38. Total: $6.38 upfront, then $2.00 for all 4 items after coupon and rebate!

If you won’t use the Hamburger Helper, do this deal anyway. Dry foods make a perfect donation and you can keep the meat. I don’t like most prepared mixes, so I’ll be donating. I love being able to share my deals with others!

Walgreens: Free Cococut Oil!

a2

Capriclear Coconut Oil is on sale for $8.00, plus an $8.00 Register Reward at Walgreens this week! If you want to stock up, there is a $2.00 coupon inside the box so the second transaction would be a $2.00 Moneymaker! (Compare that to Ulta.com’s price of $10.49).

Capriclear is a spray on moisturizer that is colorless and odorless. It’s good for dry and sensitive skin. I love that it’s 100% hypoallergenic and free of fragrance, parabens, dyes, phthalates and sulfates. I’m really excited to try this product. My sister, Jackie, raves about coconut oil all the time.
