Super Savings Saturday – 4/12

a1

Welcome to another edition of Super Savings Saturday. This was a great week of shopping with many freebies!

I started the day with a free coffee, then I headed down the street to hit 3 drug stores and a grocery  store.

Walgreens: 5 packages of Hydroxycut shakes, on sale for $5.00 each. I used 5 $5.00 Manufacturer’s coupons. Total: Free! (Very excited these finally were in stock; I’ve had the rain check for weeks!)

a1

CVS: Details here. Total: $1.62!

Rite Aid: 2 bags of Brach’s jelly beans, on sale for $0.88 each. I used a $2.00 Manufacturer’s coupon (marked down).

Physician’s Formula eyeliner, $5.35 with my Wellness discount. I used a $4.00 Facebook coupon. Total: $1.35!

a1

Shaw’s: 3-Lb bag of carrots, reduced. Total: $0.99!

2 pineapples, on sale for $1.77 each. I used 2 $0.50 Manufacturer’s coupons (doubled). Total: $0.77 each!

2 Stonyfield Field yogurts, rain check items for $.50 each. I used a $1.00/2 Manufacturer’s coupon. Total: Free!

2 Smart Balance, on sale $3.00 each. I used 2 $0.50 Manufacturer’s coupons (doubled). Total: $2.00 each!

All of these items will come in handy. I’ll be having a lot of carrots sticks and pineapple slices for snacks. I needed a new eyeliner, so the timing on that was perfect. I’m most excited about the Fish Oil. That was recommended by my sister and my doctor for the endless eye problems I’ve been struggling with. Keep your fingers crossed that it works!
