Want a Jewish crafting project that doesn’t require a lot of skill? Try this Star of David paper lantern. It’s labeled as a Hanukkah Lantern, but I think it would be perfect year-round. By using the template and following the easy instructions, even I could assemble it without a problem (I’m at the beginner level!) The kids also seemed to enjoy it.
This looks like great fun and a good way to bring light into the New Year!!
I may try it with a few children who I am teaching about Jewish culture and traditions here in Japan, seems like a good `first class` of the year, as we ended the last year making paper clay dreidels!! Blessings and Shalom from South Japan. Please visit and have some challah!
Hello and welcome! I have never been to Japan, but I’d love to visit. Paper Dreidels are also a fun project for Hanukkah time.
Just saw the Star of David challah on your blog and it looks incredible!
Thank you! Please do try it sometime, and thank you for your welcoming replies, and for visiting!!
