Solidarity Shabbat for Angela Davis is Outrageously Wrong

A pathetic group of turncoats down in Birmingham, Alabama held a “Solidarity Shabbat” for Angela Davis, a notorious anti-Semite. In addition to her hatred of Jews and Israel, she is a confirmed Communist and former Black Panther with a lengthy criminal history.

Someone with her record doesn’t deserve ice in the winter, let alone an award, yet the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute was willing to present her with a humanitarian honor. After much protest, they rescinded it—as they should’ve. (Why an honor would be given to someone with that resume is beyond me.)

Now, it seems they’re waffling and the offer has been reinstated, but she isn’t accepting. Either way, the strangest part is seeing so-called members of the Jewish community attempt to defend her. This video from Democracy Now—which is a horrible group, FYI—shows the sad state of the Secular wing. I would bet my pinkie toe that not a single one of the Jews featured is religious. More than one of them talked about being “Social Justice Jews” which is just another named for Humanism.

If someone is Jewish, and by that I mean a believer in Judaism as a faith, a nation, and a people, they would never side with our enemies. Once you do, you’ve become nothing more than a collaborator. Jews who denounce Israel and Zionism are mentally ill, period!

Angela Davis is an evil woman. She has no respect for the Constitution, for America, for our Military, for other races, for traditional male-female interaction, or anything else that normal folks hold dear. She is a radical and a fanatic.

I believe strongly in civil rights. I respect all races. Those who fought the good fight definitely deserve to be recognized for their contributions. I would gladly support their efforts, if asked. Instead of Angela Davis, give that award to Alveda King. She is doing so much important work and I admire her a lot.

Character is supposed to matter. People who have no integrity, no morals, and no values do not deserve awards. Let’s give them out based on merit, not virtue signaling.

20 Uncommon Ways to Use Witch Hazel

Look inside your medicine cabinet and you probably have a bottle of witch hazel taking up space. While many of us have bought some and used it occasionally, it’s much more versatile than you’d think. Here are 20 ways to use—and enjoy—it:

1. Heal cold sores – Just dab on.
2. Help dandruff – Massage into dry scalp, let sit for 15 minutes, then wash and condition as usual.
3. Surface Cleaner – Spray onto countertops and wipe up with a microfiber cloth.
4. Pet stain eliminator – Saturate stain, let sit 10-15 minutes. Repeat if needed.
5. Eyeglasses cleaner – Mix with rubbing alcohol and liquid soap (one part each).
6. Air freshener – Combine with essential oil to neutralizer odors.
7. Control skin issues – Oily skin and acne really benefit when witch hazel is used daily as a toner.
8. Shrink dark circles – Gently apply under the eyes.
9. Reduce razor burn – Can be used alone or with lotion.
10. Soothe poison ivy – Repeat every two hours until it’s gone.
11. Treat diaper rash – Dilute with equal parts water.
12. Tame frizz – Add a few drops to your shampoo or conditioner.
13. Treat sunburn – Combine with aloe vera gel.
14. Help heal minor cuts – Works on pets and people.
15. Bugs – Can be used as a repellant or to treat bites.
16. Jewelry cleaner – Soak a cotton ball and wipe off.
17. Sleep aid – Mix with Lavender oil and apply to skin for a calming effect.
18. Tick extraction – Douse with witch hazel and then remove with tweezers.
19. Foot soak – Add 2 tablespoons to a large basin of cold water.
20. Paint Thinner – A small amount added to paint will thin it out cheaply.

A word of caution about witch hazel: I don’t recommend swallowing it. Yes, there are certain sites that say it can be used for gum pain and digestive issues. That’s very iffy advice and I’d rather be cautious. External use is proven safe, but I wouldn’t eat it. Do what you feel is best.

Troubling Pattern of Anti-Semitism at University of North Carolina

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seems to have a troubling pattern of anti-Semitism. Last year, they were publicly shamed when it was revealed that an online textbook, which blames Holocaust victims for failing to tap into their strength, was required reading for graduation.

Instead of learning from that debacle, they’re digging in deeper by hosting America’s worst Muslim extremist, Linda Sarsour. Louis Farrakhan’s female clone will not only get to spread her horrendous hate speech, but will be paid $2500 for her time, plus travel expenses.

The Tower is covering the whole sorry affair and I’d encourage everyone to read it. If you’re a parent, do NOT send your child to this university. It cares nothing for Jewish students and doesn’t deserve the support of the Jewish community.

It’s hard to believe any public university, who constantly preaches about protecting minorities, would willingly welcome a known bigot, extremist and truly vile woman as their guest. It is shameful!
