Welcome to another edition of Super Savings Saturday!

This week was not the greatest. Yesterday was my birthday and it seemed like everything went wrong. My Pathfinder needed multiple repairs and new tires, so it was at two different garages for two days. Not only was it costly, it was also annoying (I hate being without a vehicle!).

After dealing with car problems, I then had a computer virus to fix! This is still a work in progress, and I haven’t been able to blog while it’s being resolved. So not fun…

Because of all these inconveniences, my mood has been terrible, causing me to get sad/mad and yell/cry over very minor problems like a burnt frozen pizza. (So ridiculous, I know…)

In addition to all of the above, I did manage to sneak in some couponing. It wasn’t as much as I liked, but I’m going to cut myself some slack.

Rite Aid:

I had a lot of UP Rewards to use from Black Friday before they expired.

Revlon emery board, on sale $1.24. I used a $1.00 store coupon. Total: $0.24!

2 Garnier cleansing wipes, on sale Buy 1, Get 1 50% off. I used 2 $3.00 Manufacturer’s coupons. Total: $3.43, plus a $5.00 Up reward, so it was a big moneymaker!

Biotrue contact lens solution, on sale $7.99. I used a $3.00 Manufacturer’s coupon. Total: $4.99, with a $2.00 UP Reward.  (Not the best price, but I needed to spend my rewards, so I bought something I use regularly.)

2 Oxy Clean dish tabs, rain check price 2/$5.00. I used a $4.00/2 Manufacturer’s coupon. Total: $0.50 each!

CVS:

2 Revlon eye shadows, on sale $1.97 (40% off). I used 2 store coupons. Total: Free!  (Coupons needed to be marked down slightly.)

Hannaford:

Gala apples, on sale $0.99/LB. I used a $2.00 produce coupon. Total: $0.37 for 6 apples!   (Only 3 are pictured because I ate the rest.)

World Peas, regular price $3.49. I used a free product coupon. Total: Free!   (Even though these are ranch flavored, they’re still pretty bad. I wouldn’t advise anyone to buy dried pea snacks.)
