Welcome to another edition of super Savings Saturday!
This week, I found tons of great deals and freebies. I shopped early in the week to avoid leaving with nothing but rain checks. I can’t always do this, but I prefer to whenever possible. I love finding cheap candy, hair trimmers, and condiments.
Rite Aid:
Conair hair trimmer, on sale $11.24. I used a $10.00 Video Values coupon. Total: $1.24! (The regular price is $14.99, so this was a huge savings!)
2 Snickers with almonds, on sale $0.59. I used a BOGO coupon. Total: $0.29 each!
CVS:
2 Total Home bags, on sale Buy 1, Get 1 50% off. These were clearance to $1.00 each. I paid $2.00 and received a $2.00 ECB!
Shaw’s:
2 Everyday Essential dressings, on sale $1.00. I used 2 $1.00 Manufacturer’s coupons. Total: Free!
Hellman’s squeeze mayo, on sale $1.99. I used a $0.75 Manufacturer’s coupon (doubled). Total: 0.49! (Has anyone else noticed how overpriced mayo is? I’m not willing to pay $3.99, so this was a great deal. I would’ve bought many, but it was a limit of 1.)
Hannaford:
My plan was to stock up on split breast chicken at $1.29/LB. I found a Manger’s Special sale on turkey breast and bought those instead. One of the biggest keys to being frugal is flexibility. Look for the best sales and adjust accordingly.
3 Shady Brook Farms split turkey breast, on sale $0.99/LB. Total: 12.88 for 3!
I’m cooking all 3 tonight since they have a use/freeze by date of tomorrow. This will provide tons of meat for this week’s meals, plus I won’t have to cook for a few days which is nice.
Did you use any coupons?
