Welcome to another edition of Super Savings Saturday.
Good deals were abundant this week. Since I was blessed with more time and energy than I usually have, I took full advantage and shopped ’til I dropped at store…after store…after store!
CVS:
4 Ragu pasta sauces, sale price $1.00. I used two $1.25/2 manufacturer’s coupons. Total: $0.38 each!
2 Colgate Sensitive Smart White toothpastes, sale price $3.99. I used two $2.00 manufacturer’s coupons. Total: $3.98 plus $4.00 ECBs!
Dunkin Donuts:
Free sample of frozen coffee (extremely small size, but the taste was good.)
PetSmart:
Free bag of Nutro dry dog food (These were given out free to the first 100 customers.)
Hannaford:
Chuck steak at $2.49/lb was on my list. I changed my mind when I stumbled onto an unadvertised Manager’s Special on skirt steak at only $1.99/lb! Normally, that type of steak is around $9.99/lb, so it was a huge savings.
6 packs of skirt steak, total: $22.89! (We ate two for dinner and the remainder were marinated and then put into the freezer.)
JC Penney:
Free $10.00 off $10.00 or more purchase coupon. (The store was mobbed, so I’m saving it for later).
Walgreens:
I did 6 separate transactions since you can’t roll Register Rewards for identical items.
6 M&M caramel candies, sale price $1.25. Total: $7.50 plus $7.50 Register Rewards!
