Welcome to another edition of Super Savings Saturday.
Due to being on vacation, my shopping time was limited. I picked up free dog food at Petco and then went across the street to CVS (because I’m so efficient like that… As If.)
CVS:
Sally Hansen nail polish, regular price $3.29. I used a $3.00 store coupon. Total: $0.29.
Dawn dish soap, sale price $0.99. I used a $0.25 manufacturer’s coupon. Total: $0.74.
Scope mouthwash, sale price $4.79. I used a $1.00 manufacturer’s coupon stacked with a $1.00 store coupon. Total: $2.79 plus $3.00 ECB. (There is a ridiculous amount of mouthwash in my stockpile, but I don’t turn down anything free.)
Oral-B toothbrush pack, regular price $5.29. I used a $1.00 manufacturer’s coupon stacked with a $2.00 store coupon. Total: $3.29 plus $3.00 ECB.
I didn’t do any regular grocery shopping, so I’ll have to compensate for the upcoming week with a huge haul. I guess it all evens out in the end.
Have you used any coupons lately?
I love the Super Savings. Saturdays the most. I read these every week.
I am so glad to hear that. In case anyone is wondering, Super Savings Saturday was a weekly post that Money Saving Mom originally started on her blog. I think it was about 10 years ago. She eventually stopped doing it, but it’s a tradition I’ve continued. I love to see what people are buying, eating, etc. It’s kind of a “Day in the Life” style post.
