FYI: I haven’t actually bought a calendar since the ’90’s. There are so many available for nothing!

Did you know that Spinach & Orange Salad is a super food? Studies have shown that the magnesium in spinach improves the body’s stress response. Vitamin C, found in oranges, can lower blood pressure and improve the immune system. By combining spinach and orange, we get double the benefits—not to mention great taste!
I love spinach and oranges, so combining them is ideal. To make Spinach & Orange Salad, you will need:
* 1 Bag of baby spinach
* 2 Oranges, cut into segments, or 1 can of mandarin oranges
* 1/2 Cup slivered almonds
* 1 Red onion, sliced
* 1/2 Cup of salad dressing, homemade or prepared
Toss all of the ingredients in a bowl, making sure everything is evenly coated. Serve right away, or it will get soggy.
Isn’t that easy?! I love that this recipe can be made in under 10 minutes, dressing included. If you’d like to eat this as a main course, add some chopped chicken. As a side dish, I love to serve Spinach & Orange Salad with steak or salmon.
