Free Guides & Printables For Sukkot

a2

One of the easiest—and most enjoyable—ways to teach little ones about Jewish holidays is through crafts. Most kids love art projects and this is a great way to help them learn!

For those who are unfamiliar with Sukkot, I suggest checking out the wealth of info from Sukkah World. There is an excellent guide and many printable resources available like this “Rules of the Sukkah” banner. (Very cute and relatable for kids, since it’s written in a Dr. Seuss style.)

Here are a variety of free coloring pages—just download, print, and get creative. These can be hung up in the Sukkah itself, or just stuck on the fridge if you don’t have/want your own Sukkah.

Super Savings Saturday – 10/11

a2

Welcome to another edition of Super Savings Saturday—a weekly post where I feature my best deals.

I’ve certainly found my shares of goodies lately. On Wednesday, I snacked on free pizza and on Friday, I started my day with free coffee. I shopped at 3 stores and left with tons of stuff! The only store I missed was Target, because I ran out of time. That’s ok, I’ll stop in soon (nothing I wanted, including the cheap Pull Ups, has expired yet). My favorite deal of the week has to be the $0.29 eggs!

Walgreens:

4 Advil PM, on sale $1.00. I used 4 $1.00 Manufacturer’s coupons. Total: Free!

Market Basket:

2 Lipton tea, regular price $1.14. I used 2 $1.00 Manufacturer’s coupons. Total: $0.14 each!

4 packs of split chicken breast, on sale $0.99/Lb. Total: $8.59.   (This was an unadvertised Manager’s Special. I love finding unexpected markdowns, especially on expensive items like meat.)

2 Arm & Hammer laundry detergents, on sale $2.00. I used a $2.00/2 Manufacturer’s coupon. Total: $1.00 each!   (My stock up price! I would’ve bought more if I had additional coupons.)

Shaws:

2 Eggland’s Best eggs, marked down to $0.99. I used 2 $0.35 Manufacturer’s coupons (doubled). Total: $0.29 a dozen!   (Never bought eggs this cheaply in my life.)

Package of 4 zucchini, marked down to $0.28!

5-Lb bag of white potatoes, marked down to $0.88!

The following items were part of a Mega Sale (Buy 10 items, get $5.00 off):

4 Mount Olive Bread & Butter pickles, on sale $1.99. Total: $7.96.  (Request from Hungry Bear. I only like dill pickles and he prefers these in sandwiches.)

2 Clorox bleach, on sale $1.49. I used a $1.00/2 Manufacturer’s coupon. Total: $0.99 each!

2 Sierra Mist soda, on sale $0.88. I used a $1.00/2 Manufacturer’s coupon. Total: $0.38 each!

2 Fiora toilet papers, on sale $2.99. I used 2 $0.55 Manufacturer’s coupon (doubled). Total: $1.89 each!

Did you get anything special this week? Feel free to share so we can encourage each other!

You may have missed this great deal if you don’t subscribe to Christopher & Banks emails.

This weekend only, we can get a $10 freebie In-Store with a new coupon. There is no minimum purchase required, so you could possibly score some free clothes or accessories! (They have a decent variety of clothing for Misses & Petites, with a bunch of clearance starting at $9.99.)

There is no code, so just print out the picture and bring it with you to the store, or sign up for emails and they’ll send it to you.

Take Your Art To The Next Level With Cricut

The links in this post are affiliate links. If you make a purchase after clicking on them, I will receive a small commission.

It started out as a doodle, something small, casually tossed in the margin of your grocery list. But somehow this graphic element took over and before you knew it, it became the decorative element to everything in your world. Unfortunately, all those minute details that you added make it virtually impossible to transform it into the third dimension, right? Not true. If you can print it, you can cut it with the Cricut Explore machine.

Now with the newest feature of the Cricut Explore machine, you can choose your image (either your own or one of 50,000+ in the Cricut Design Lab), flatten the image and then click ‘Go’. Once printed, the Cricut Explore machine works its magic to bring your 2-dimensional idea into the 3rd dimension.

Take a look at this super short instructional video (less than 4 minutes) and see just how easy it can be…
