I feel so blessed to have Oscar in my life. This adorable Chihuahua adds so much fun, friendship, and excitement to every day. Keeping Oscar happy and healthy is always top priority and when selecting his food, I try to find companies that share this view.

One of my favorites is Wild Calling!®. Instead of a strategy, they have a story—one that’s real, honest, and true. Quality is their concern. They believe in using the finest ingredients—including hormone and antibiotic-free meat, poultry and fish. They believe in grain free nutrition. Rich meats help create an optimal amino acid profile to support healthy muscle growth & increased energy.

Wild Calling! makes a variety of fantastic products, all of which are manufactured here in the USA. Both wet and dry options are available, with each offering these unique features:

  • 100% grain and gluten free
  • formulated as 82% digestible, up to 77% single animal protein diets
  • especially good for dogs with sensitive stomachs or specific dietary needs
  • GlycoEdge combines tapioca, sweet potatoes and lentils for consistent energy, limits glucose and prevent insulin spikes
  • Digentle is a unique blend for gentle digestion
  • immune system support from sun-dried fruits and vegetables as well as vitamin C and E
  • available in 25, 13 and 4.5lb bags

 Wild Calling! canned food:

  • zero vegetable protein, egg, corn, wheat or soy
  • 100% grain, gluten and carrageenan free
  • formulated as a highly digestible, single protein diet
  • each cans liver is protein specific except in salmon and triple delight flavors
  • available in 13oz dog can and 5.5oz cat cans

Making sure Oscar has access to all natural food matters, but taste has to be paramount. The little guy can be very picky, so I’m pleased to say that Wild Calling tickles his taste buds. He loves their stuff and I love knowing it’s safe for him and will help to maintain his “wild” spirit.

This looks like great dog food! It’s hard to find the good food. We don’t feed our dogs any corn whatsoever. It sucks but someone on my street leaves corn cobs out for the squirrels and the squirrels bring them into me yard and they drop it and my dogs eat it and ALWAYS get sick. Ugh!

So nice to see a company that really cares about what’s in our pet food. Your Oscar looks so sweet! I’ll have to check Wild Callings out!

Glad to see you’re right up on your dogs health. Not many people realize the stuff you get at a grocery store isn’t super healthy for our pets. We feed our Pomeranian grain-free high protein too.

yea, it’s always surprised me that most dog food is so heavily grain based. Hopefully things keep swinging back around and people and pets both start to eat healthier foods and they become the norm instead of the exception.

I don’t have a pet right now but that food sounds very nourishing for animals. Your dog is so sweet!

Awww my Tink would love to hang out with Oscar. She’s part chihuahua , part pug and all silly. I have her sister, the 10 year old boxer on a special diet because she has a super sensitive stomach, but Tink will eat just about anything. We keep an eye on her though and we have her on good food, because we don’t want her to get super pug fat cause she has a chia body. lol

I always find chihuahuas adorable and Oscar is no exception. 🙂 We don’t have dogs but my SIL does. I will have to share this with her.

My two dogs are the love of my life, and feeding them the right food is extremely important to be. They have been on blue buffalo since they were born, but thank you for the great review!
