My Experience with Kosher Casual

When selecting new clothes, I look for items that are both modest and stylish.  This can be challenging and when I find a brand that works, I love to stick with it!

One of my favorite companies is Kosher Casual. Long time readers will remember when they sponsored a giveaway. Recently, they offered me a chance to do a product review.

Kosher Casual is a bit different than most modest clothing retailers. They follow modern fashion trends. Nothing is out of date or frumpy. Recognizing that we all have a different set of standards, there is a range from slightly modest to full coverage, allowing for a personalized feel.

I spent quite a while browsing on their site. It was so hard to narrow down my selection! There are tons of pretty skirts, tops, dresses, and accessories. After careful deliberation, I chose a 3/4 sleeve T-shirt.

This is how it looks on the site.

I was attracted to this particular top because it came in my all-time favorite shade of purple (there are 11 additional shades available). It’s 100% combed cotton, with a super-soft, lightweight feel. It’s machine washable, which is a huge plus. It’s narrow-banded and gently clings, but is not too tight or revealing.

I always have a hard time selecting sizes online. I ended up going with a small. Because Kosher Casual clothing is manufactured in Israel, they use Mediterranean sizing, which is smaller than U.S. cuts. Accordingly, you should order at least one size up and possibly 2 sizes for clingy pieces.

The small fit me fine, and was actually roomy. The neckline, length, and sleeves are perfect—no riding up. It’s great on its own or would work as a layering piece. At a reasonably priced $15.00, I can buy many more colors! I’d love to see it offered in a long-sleeve version for winter, too.
